Don't you love finding decent yarn at the thrift store? I do! Yes, most days there's yarn to be found on the shelves, but it's usually acrylic rug hooking yarn (does anyone actually use that stuff anymore?) or a 6 oz. skein of Red Heart for $2. I'm not such a fiber snob that I turn my nose up at acrylic, but why would I pay retail at the thrift store? Makes no sense. So last week I got lucky and found some nice little skeins of pink cotton/polyester that will work nicely for the Munchkin. I'm thinking something along the lines of this - something she won't outgrow in a week. And I shall continue on my quest to find the jackpot box of needles and notions- you know the one I'm talking about!
